Broccoli might very well be the most underappreciated veggie for roasting. We’re making it a thing — because the sensational crispiness of those floret ends is just SO much better than plain ole’ steamed broccoli. Of course, the addictive kick of Caramelized Onion Hummus doesn’t hurt here, either.

Caramelized Onion Hummus Toast with Roasted Broccoli

1 head of broccoli, cut into florets and woody stems thinly sliced
1 teaspoon of olive oil 
Salt and red pepper flakes to taste
Your preferred bread
1 container CAVA Organic Caramelized Onion Hummus

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Toss broccoli florets with olive oil, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 25 to 30 minutes, until lightly charred. Spread Caramelized Onion Hummus on toast. Add broccoli on top of toast. Finish with a sprinkle with salt and roasted red pepper flakes.
