Sure, you can load things up nacho-style — but some good ole baked fries are SO. MUCH. BETTER.

Trust us. The crispy chickpeas make all the difference here, too — and Tzatziki for dipping is mandatory.

Loaded Mediterranean Fries with Tzatziki

3 to 4 large russet potatoes, cut into matchsticks
Olive oil
Salt and cracked black pepper to taste

1 cup crispy chickpeas (toss 1 can drained and rinsed chickpeas with olive oil and roast at 200 degrees Fahrenheit until golden, about an hour)
1/2 cup kalamata olives
3/4 cup banana pepper slices
1 cup shredded cheese
1/2 cup crumbled feta
1/2 cup CAVA Tzatziki
Fresh chopped fresh mint

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Toss potatoes with olive oil and spice blend and spread on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake until golden brown, shaking and tossing pan halfway, about 20 to 25 minutes. Pull from the oven and layer with chickpeas, olives, banana pepper slices, and shredded cheese. Return to the oven and broil for 2 to 3 minutes. Top with feta and fresh mint, and serve with Tzatziki for dipping.
