You’ve dipped every possible veggie into your hummus come snacktime – but have you considered putting those crunchy, colorful, nutrient-packed bites straight on top of your favorite snack?
Yep, you can do that.

Spicy Hummus Instant Snack Break
Prep Time: 10-15 minutes
Yield: 2-3 snacktimes (if you’re lucky)
2-3 large carrots, small diced
1 small beet, small diced
1 red bell pepper, small diced
1 bundle fresh herbs (we used a blend of basil, mint, and parsley)
3/4 cup olive oil
pinch of salt
1 package of CAVA Spicy Hummus
Dice your veggies and set aside.
For the herb oil, bring a medium pot of water to a boil. Add the herbs for just a few seconds to blanch them, then immediately plunge into an ice bath. Strain out the blanched herbs and transfer to a blender with the olive oil and salt. Blend until fully infused.
To assemble your snack break, add a sprinkle of each of your veggies to the Spicy Hummus, and drizzle with a little herb oil. Replace the lid and head out the door.
Dip using pretzel crisps, pita chips, or your preferred dipper.
