Nutrition-based interests in the hibiscus flower go way, way back – history tell us the ancient Egyptians drank hibiscus tea to help regulate their body temperature and treat basic maladies.
These days, the antioxidants and polyphenols in hibiscus tea have been shown to help with digestion, concentration, immune system health, and even eye health. So go ahead, drink up!
