A spiced-up twist on a holiday party classic, cooled down with a creamy tzatziki sauce.
Harissa Spiced Meatballs
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
- 1 lb. ground lamb
- 1-3 cloves finely minced garlic
- ½ tsp ginger powder
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon harissa
- 1 egg
Cilantro Yogurt Sauce
- 1 package of CAVA Tzatziki
- ½ cup fresh cilantro
- ¼ lemon
- Pinch of salt
Preheat oven 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Combine meatball ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly.
Measure out the mixture into 1 oz. portions and roll into balls. Place meatballs on a greased baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine CAVA Tzatziki, cilantro, lemon, and salt in a bowl and mix thoroughly.
Remove meatballs from oven, mix with yogurt sauce, and serve warm.
