Huddle up. It’s game day and though you’re not quite ready to blow the roof off your January resolutions, a once-a-year event means it’s time for a treat.
We’re drawing up your craving-crushing game plan with no-guilt Harissa Buffalo Cauliflower on a bed of tangy Traditional Hummus.
Harissa Buffalo Cauliflower + Hummus
1 medium cauliflower (cut into bite-sized pieces)
½ cup olive oil
1½ T white vinegar
1 T paprika
¼ tsp Worcestershire sauce (vegan if preferred)
1/2 cup coconut oil (or olive oil if preferred)
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 container CAVA Harissa
1 container CAVA Traditional Hummus
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray baking sheet with cooking spray.
Toss cauliflower bites in olive oil and salt in a large bowl. Spread on the baking sheet and roast the cauliflower until it’s starting to soften and brown on the bottom, about 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix Harissa, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and salt together in the blender. Drizzle coconut or olive oil in slowly while blender is on – blending until mixture is emulsified.
Pull cauliflower from the oven and spoon into a large mixing bowl. Pour Buffalo sauce over roasted cauliflower and toss to coat. Return the cauliflower to the baking sheet and continue roasting until hot, about 5-8 minutes more.
Spread Traditional Hummus on a plate. Top with Harissa buffalo cauliflower bites, thinly sliced celery, and a sprinkle of dukkah. Enjoy!
