Your baked ziti has been CRAVING a kick — do it with Harissa for best results.

Harissa Baked Ziti

1 box ziti, medium shells, or your preferred pasta
olive oil
1 pound ground beef
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small red onion, minced
1 teaspoon cumin
1 jar marinara sauce
1 cup crumbled feta
1 cup shredded mozzarella
fresh parsley
1 container CAVA Harissa

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Add Harissa to a medium prep bowl with minced onion, one clove of minced garlic, cumin, and marinara sauce, and stir together to combine. Pour into a medium saucepan and bring to a light simmer over low heat.

In a separate saucepan warmed to medium heat, sauté ground beef in a separate pan with olive oil and remaining minced garlic, breaking up the meat with a spatula or wooden spoon. Cook, stirring occasionally, until meat has just cooked through, about 8 to 10 minutes.

In the meantime, bring a large stockpot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente, about 7 to 8 minutes. Drain and set aside.

When beef has cooked through, add to pasta sauce and stir together. Pour al dente pasta into a large baking dish brushed with olive oil. Add sauce and meat to pan and stir everything together. Sprinkle with an even layer of feta and mozzarella, and bake for 25 minutes, until heated through. Set to broil and cook for another 2 to 4 minutes, until delicately browned. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and fresh cracked pepper.
