This past Friday, we had the opportunity to share breakfast with hundreds of DC’s most inspiring, innovative, engaging minds at the monthly Creative Mornings discussion series. Hosted at the American Art Gallery this time around, the talk featured the guys of No Kings Collective – Brandon Hill + Peter Chang – chatting about all things collaboration.

This monthly breakfast series is one of our favorite opportunities to really dive into the DC creative scene. If you’re not familiar with Creative Mornings, it’s a movement that started in NYC and has since expanded to coordinated monthly talks about a singular theme all across the globe. DC’s sessions sell out in mere minutes, so definitely make sure to hop on the mailing list if you want to stay in the loop about upcoming events.

Take a peek at the Creative Mornings DC Twitter feed for snippets from Friday’s talk – it was a great one.

And as for why we were in attendance serving breakfast? We’re debuting our DCA/Reagan Airport location oh so soon, and when we do, there’ll be something brand new.

Exclusively at our airport location, we’ll be serving breakfast. Our airport location will have longer hours than our usual 11am-10pm window, so we knew we wanted to take things a step further than a Supergreens-and-hummus bowl at 8am. Think Greek yogurt bowls with toppings like granola, chia seeds, fresh honey, and seasonal roasted fruit. Plus, we’ll be dishing up savory breakfast bowls that pair a few of our lunchtime favorites like spicy lamb meatballs or pickled onions with eggs, roasted potatoes, and plenty of toppings. And there’ll be coffee and a few other treats in store, too.

So stay tuned for our very first airport location – we’re certainly excited about it.
