Crazy Feta Pepperoni Pizza Rolls (makes 8 to 10 rolls)
flour for sprinkling
1 round store-bought or homemade pizza dough (we like Whole Foods pizza dough)
1 package pepperoni
2-3 tablespoons butter
1 clove garlic
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
salt to taste
1 package skim mozzarella cheese
1 jar low-sodium pizza sauce
1 container CAVA Crazy Feta
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray. On a lightly floured surface, roll the pizza dough out into a large rectangle. Use a dough cutter to cut dough into smaller rectangles, about 3 by 3 inches. Add Crazy Feta and pepperoni on top of each piece of dough. Carefully take the ends of the rectangles and roll them up around the toppings, pinching the ends to make a ball.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter and sauté the garlic for 1 to 2 minutes over medium heat. Add dried herbs and a pinch of salt and cook for another minute. Brush the pizza rolls with the garlic butter, reserving some. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top. Bake for 20 minutes or until the tops are golden.
Remove pan from oven and brush with more garlic butter. Serve with warm pizza sauce.
