Have you ever glimpsed a bustling playground in Columbia Heights near the intersection of 14th Street NW and Girard? Probably not. And even if you have, you probably haven’t noticed the vibrant community garden that’s nestled right near the outdoor basketball court. That’s the Girard Children’s Community Garden, and it’s a fixture of the local community in more ways than one. It also happens to be one of the spaces that our incredible community partners at City Blossoms call home.

Getting involved with City Blossoms has never been easier. We’re celebrating opening day at our newest Cava Grill location in Ashburn with one of our favorite traditions. Join us for Community Day this Thursday, September 10, and enjoy free lunch (11am-2pm) or dinner (5pm-8pm) with an encouraged donation to City Blossoms. It’s a win, win.

We hope you’ll join us.
