Happy Friday! Here’s our top V/5 this week:

1) How to Propagate Your Plants | A Steller story from Karen Poole

If you didn’t know what propagate even meant, now you do. We’re big fans of the story-telling platform Steller, and Poole’s insights on how to give that neglected plant a facelift are great ones!

2) An Everlasting Meal: Cooking with Economy and Grace |  Tamar Adler

We haven’t read Adler’s book yet, but this The New Yorker review definitely caught our attention. A particular favorite line from the interview with Adler: “Cooking doesn’t have to be a great production. Often the best meals are assemblages of what’s there.”

3) 10 Unconventional Ways to Open a Wine Bottle Without a Corkscrew | Food Beast

How many of these have you heard of? There are some really inventive ones (and maybe some dangerous ones). Be safe, team.

4) Ingredient Spotlight on Kale | A Pinterest board

We’ve been pinning all things kale over the past few days – ‘tis the season for stews, kale chips, and darker greens.

5) V | Maroon 5’s newest album

It’s perfect! Maroon 5’s newest album, aptly (in our opinion) titled “V,” is not only a fun mirror-image of our logo – it’s also a pretty great playlist to kick off your weekend.
